In the North American version of Kingdom Hearts, Kairi was voiced by 13-year-old Hayden Panettiere. She also voiced Dot in the Pixar movie A Bug's Life, which is presumably how she got involved working with Disney. Other projects she has worked on have been Disney's Dinosaur, Remember the Titans, Joe Somebody, and "Ally McBeal."
Kairi's seiyuu (Japanese voice actress) is Risa Uchida. She is also 13 years old and played Young Nala in the musical version of The Lion King. (Thank you to Koneko and GameFAQs for the information.)
